“Friendly staff. Upon arrival, there isn’t a person permanently at the check-in desk…not really a problem, but if there was a sign directing newcomers to the bar for assistance, that would help. I wish there were fridges in the rooms. But the shower was great, room was clean, and a kettle for tea/coffee worked great. And the food available at the attached pub is excellent. “Friendly and professional staff. Wonderful evening meal (the Halloumi Flatbread was delicious). Good parking, spacious bedroom well appointed. The chilled complimentary fruit juice & water was much appreciated after a 400 mile journey! My only issue was that room 4 was right over the outside seating area and I can only imagine that during World Cup season this could prove to be a problem. As it was I did have the creaking stairs (access for all guests) and loud music blasting from the bar below...

“Great stay at the Queens during the Women’s Open. Single room was not large but perfectly adequate for one and had every thing that I needed. Lovely meal in the restaurant one evening and the breakfasts were excellent with lots of choice. Not my first stay here and won’t be the last.”

“The room was a good size and spacoius, large bed with good facilities, the only thing that let it down was the smell from the drains, but that could be to do with the hot weather we’ve had recently.”
