“The Blue Lion is ideally situated for a stop over when making a long journey to Cornwall. The room was well equipped and comfortable. There is some traffic noise from the road, but that did not spoil our one night stay. The staff were welcoming and the locals were friendly. The evening meal was excellent. I would stay here again if travelling in this area.”

“We stayed here for two nights, what a wonderful experience! The room and staff were fantastic, food was great, felt very relaxed and at home. We visited Looe, Polperro and Fowey, easy to travel to and back. Loved the little break away. Would highly recommend going.”

“All of the staff we came into contact with were friendly and helpful. We ate at the pub and the food was good sized portions and of a good quality. The breakfast was particularly good!
The room was quirky and of a good size.
Overall, we would highly recommend staying at the Hoops Inn.”
