We had a lovely stay at the Hoops Inn. Our room at the back of the Inn was quiet, spacious and clean and the quality of the food (both dinner and at breakfast) was excellent.
Friendly bunch of people around the bar. Excellent food. Helpful and no issues with our giant dog (Irish Wolfhound). We had 2 rooms. Rooms at the back are modern and quiet. Rooms at the front are lovely tudor atmosphere and we did not notice any road noise.
I love beautiful old buildings, and this was one of them. The grounds were beautiful. The staff were very polite. The breakfast was very nice. All in all my partner and i had a wonderful time, and will definitely be booking the same place again next year.
Very pleasant one night stay, the snug area is a nice retreat for hotel guests to get quite time away from the bustling bar....Staff v helpful and friendly....Had an excellent Roast on a Sunday, excellent beef and good value, top marks

The breakfast only starts at 8 - no good for visiting workers and the walk to the nearby beach is a bit of a nightmare.
This place a very nice and full of history. We found our room very small for us and 2 dogs but was very hot. No fan in the room and nothing available when asked.
Pleased we only stayed one night with the dogs.
Would stay again as all staff very friendly and welcoming. Food including breakfast was very nice.
