Vacations Close To St. George's Harbor

Everything was great! The location, design and layout of the rooms and the hospitality of the staff was superb. The housekeeping was exceptional. We had an amazing time, even though the weather wasn't always the best.

Colleen could not be more cooperative and reactive. We really enjoyed our stay at this very special place. We know Grenada very well and this is clearly a cut above most of the competition there. Highly recommended

The view sold me. The staff and customer service sealed the deal. I will return.

I have never written a bad review before on my many travels, but this place was awful. When we arrived, we were shown construction adjacent to the “villa” which we had not been warned about. The AC was not working, the safe was broken, there were cracks in the ceiling and the bathroom tiles. The pool was not clean the sofa was dirty and had a partial covering which was unattractive. It was a small studio, not a villa. We left as it was not habitable and the property refused to give us a refund. Overall a miserable experience.

When I made the reservation at Maca Bana, I looked at the photos and read the reviews. I was confident we would like the place. After being here for a 5-day stay it far exceeded my expectations. Yes the place is beautiful and set within the paradise of Grenada. However, Maca Bana and the related Aquarium restaurant and the beautiful and sparsely populated Magazine beach together are an amazing ensemble. The hotel staff were amazing. One in particular helped us enjoy Grenada in so many ways and quickly became a friend (apparently for this review he must remain nameless). He took care of any want we shared and so graciously. I have never experienced the level of service and warmth from a resort before. This was very unique for us.

Excellent and varied included breakfast. Rooms are a little dated but staff is awesome. Food is good. Restaurant over he water. Hotel located close to airport and city. You can book rental cars and have them delivered to the property and you can go on a scuba diving trip that is reasonably priced. Overall good option for visit to Grenada.
