Vacations Close To Splashes Oceanfront Water Park

Room was below par for cleanliness and maintenance. Dirty countertops, popcorn under the bed, handprints all over everything. Pool was overcrowded. Restaurant on site was amazing and location to outside restaurants and shopping was great!

Loved the resort- highly recommend a check-in a better overview of all amenities available. Would’ve appreciated booking the spa we booked online through Expedia so we did not know this was an option. We absolutely loved the restaurant waiter but it was unfortunate He was the only one staffed for the restaurant and the bar. He made the experience very memorable and had the best hospitality. The food was great, but I think you would have a better turnout if there was more staff support.

I like this location as I’ve stayed here before. Bathrooms were pretty nasty with trash and hair everywhere. Not sure they mopped or cleaned the toilets before we checked in. There was also hair in the fridge? No dish soap or paper towels which was a little disappointing considering it has a full kitchen with dishwasher. Rooms could definitely use some new carpet as they were gross with stains everywhere. Living room chair was cut with big hole. Beds were fairly comfortable. Nice view of waterway and golf course.

Their Hotels.com listing is not what you get when you arrive. The pool was closed off. The "restaurant" on site was a small store that sold pizza, subs, snacks and ice cream. The night we arrived another patron was sitting in the small shop having ice cream with her children and another man grabbed her wallet off of her table and ran out. The police were called but all they could do was pull video feeds from the hotel and the hotel next door and confirm he ran toward the beach and was going through her wallet prior to throwing something in the bushes. Sadly, they never found her wallet in the bushes after a considerable time searching. As for me and my family we will not be back to this property or area. There are safer accommodations with better amenities for just about the same price. Saving a couple of bucks isn't worth the risk. Checking in I stood alone in the lobby for over 20 minutes before someone came out to check me in. She was not personable and acted as if my showing up was an inconvenience. Thank goodness our stay just a two night stay over on the way from Pennsylvania to Miami.

Great view of ocean, coast line, and property! Great parking! Enjoyed provided shuttle service. Elevators always available and very fast.
