“Room very dated. Shower soaks the bathroom. Shower seal hanging off so water poured onto the floor. Bath panel full of grime across the top and room carpet quite stained. Out view was a brick wall. I was very disappointed to be staying at the back of a garage and not in the actual hotel. I don’t think this was very clear when booking. If I had known I would not have booked. It certainly was not worth £159”

“Lovely room. We booked the dog friendly room and we had dog bowls, and a doggy treat pack including toy, treats & poo bags. Nice little touch! Great food as always, lovely full English breakfast. Friendly helpful staff. Would definitely recommend.”

“We stayed for 2 nights in a very small double standard room. No storage space,just a bar about a metre long to hang a couple of items on and small bedside drawers .There was a complimentary breakfast provided and tea making facilities but only a tiny stool so breakfast had to be eaten sitting on the bed. All that being said the room was clean and the bed . In the shower room there is a small towel rail but only big enough for hand towels,we had to drape the wet bath towels over the shower door....

“A well equipped hotel. Very clean with comfortable beds. The restaurant was lovely with a good choice on the menu and all at very reasonable prices. The setting is beautiful with the hills around and the well kept gardens. I would highly recommend this hotel. Also , all the staff were so friendly and helpful. We had a perfect stay. Thank you.”

“Beautiful old property but unfortunately hasn’t been maintained. Very tired. Rooms had visible damp, peeling walls, broken glass in windows and flaking window frames. Bathrooms weren’t very clean, mouldy edges and rusting showers. Breakfast didn’t have items on menu. Manager eventually moved us to a better room but outside in the corridor were buckets catching the rain. Unfortunately unable to receive any refund for our first nights stay. “Great location close to the waterfront. Lots of charm and cozy factor, and helpful staff. Our room was clean, but showing a bit of wear and tear. Reception is in the restaurant, and you may have to wait for restaurant guests to check in. Parking can be difficult at peak times.”

“First impressions of Grange Manor will be lasting. The whole experience. Was just perfect and a real oasis. The room was luxury at its best with patio door opening to hot tub and garden. High ceilings and the decor fitted the room perfectly. All amenities catered for. The staff were incredible with nothing being too much trouble. Welcome back after each day being away was so warm and genuine. Will most certainly want to travel back again to Grange Manor and especially The Garden Warbler room....
