“This is a gorgeous property! We stayed for a long weekend to attend a wedding and had a fabulous time. Although our hotel room was in the older wing of the hotel, the room was in outstanding condition and spotless. The staff and the food/beverage options are also great! Highly recommend and feel like this place is a hidden gem given how remote it feels but yet how relatively close it is to CPH.”

The big problem with this room was the bar was below it and outside area where people smoked and the smell of smoke drifted in to the room even though the window was closed. I thought the smoking would stop but at 2 AM there were still people down there being loud and smoking combined that with another guest who had a dog that literally never stopped barking until very late in the evening and then started barking again before 7am. “Vi bodde i Slottsvillan, vilket innebar stora rum i äldre, klassisk stil med allt vad det innebär av karaktär och charm (och lite äldre standard). Hotellet är väldigt utspritt över stora delar av Vadstena, så man får vara beredd på att promenera lite. I vårt fall låg frukostmatsalen i en byggnad nära Slottsvillan (det verkar finnas flera frukostplatser). Själva matsalen var kanske inte supercharmig, men frukosten i sig var riktigt bra! Ett spännande boende för den som vill bo historiskt.”

“Perfect location for boats to islands, walk to Gamla Stan, museums and garden area, breakfast in an amazingly beautiful banquet hall, spacious room, special extras such as afternoon fresh chocolate croissants were a welcome treat after a day of sightseeing. All staff were lovely, helpful and welcoming.”
