Gothia Towers is a great place to stay when visiting Gøteborg. The staff is very friendly, the rooms are spacious with great beds and bathrooms.

Hotel is in a great location restaurants, theme park and shopping centre close by. One the bus route from the airport so easy to get to. Room was a good size and was clean but did not feel very fresh. Terrible drainage issues in shower which resulted in a room change. New room was fresher but unfortunately the drainage issue was not resolved. Anytime someone used their bathroom our bathroom would smell. We resorted to covering the drain when not in use to reduce the smell. Breakfast selection was lovely, lots of choice for everyone and things were replenished quickly. Staff were very nice throughout our staff but we would not return or recommend. Our final days of our trip were noisy and chaotic due to the hotel being overrun with children on a soccer camp. There was nowhere to escape in the communal areas, the lifts were constantly blocked due and the breakfast hall was super busy. I personally felt that it would have been better if one of the breakfast rooms was assigned to the soccer camp and normal residents could use the second room. I reached out to the hotel after our stay but had no response and had to go through hotels.com to resolve my complaint. If you are seeking a hotel with a spa facility then I would recommend Jaczy which has a fun vibe whilst maintaining a level of relaxing.

One critique is the pool and Jacuzzi are only available if you pay daily spa fee of approx $49 USD or 500 swedish krone. Elevators are great , staff super helpful and kind. Hotel is centrally located to everything . Second time staying here

The room was way smaller than we could have ever expected …. Breakfast included was good but there was long lines and waits for the elevator. The restaurant “the corner” had staff that seemed to feel quite rude we could never get help as we are English speaking (maybe they assumed American) but the server Sofie was lovely and always came to our rescue

Hotel lovely, breakfast very nice. All good except for small rooms. No wardrobe in room only coat hangers on hooks on wall and no set of drawers. We only stayed 4 nights which was fine but anymore you could do with wardrobe/drawers.

We had a great stay at this modern, upscale hotel. Our room was large and nicely decorated and had large windows overlooking Gothenburg from the 21st floor. The rate included spa access and daily breakfast. The spa is very good, and we took advantage of the sauna, pool and other amenities. Location is across the street from Liseberg, a large amusement park, but a bit further away from the other major tourist attractions. However, Gothenburg is not a huge city, and we were able to walk and scooter everywhere in under 40 mins. We really enjoyed our stay at the Upper House and would highly recommend it to others looking for an upscale stay.
