One critique is the pool and Jacuzzi are only available if you pay daily spa fee of approx $49 USD or 500 swedish krone. Elevators are great , staff super helpful and kind. Hotel is centrally located to everything . Second time staying here

Our stay was good. The hotel looks nice and it’s near Liseber park which is very convenient for me since I had with me my child. They also have an indoor playground which is a plus point for my child. She enjoyed it but the 2 things I didn’t appreciate was the toilet. It smelled so bad on the first night but the second was better and the elevator on the day we checked out was too busy that I opted to go on the stairs which was very tiring since I had a heavy bag that day plus I had my child with me. We stayed on the 7th floor and had to take the stairs going to the first floor.

Room, elevator and carpet in hallways not clean. Elevator wall damaged and requires cleaning as well. The hotel really requires improvement and a refresh. On a positive note the staff are a positive.

Upper House was definitely that. I stayed in Gothia Towers and then did an upgrade for two nights. It was a good stay in both places but they certainly turned up a notch at Upper House. The spa was wonderful. Not too crowded as they made reservations. The saunas and Hamam room were very nice. Pools were warm and well maintained. Breakfast at both places was good but I was able to get made to order breakfast at upper house which was very nice. Service was superb in both places, The staff were helpful and friendly My only feedback would be to expand the menus at the in hotel restaurants. The pizza at The Corner was nice and fresh.

We truly enjoyed every moment of our stay. The room was modern, spotless, and very comfortable, with a fantastic view. The service throughout the hotel was outstanding — every staff member we met was friendly, professional, and genuinely committed to making our stay enjoyable. The breakfast was excellent, with a wide selection and high-quality dishes. Overall, Gothia Towers delivers an experience that makes you look forward to returning. Overall impression Gothia Towers offers a complete and memorable experience. The combination of location, comfort, service, and quality sets this hotel apart. We will definitely return to the same hotel the next time we visit Gothenburg.

Hotel lovely, breakfast very nice. All good except for small rooms. No wardrobe in room only coat hangers on hooks on wall and no set of drawers. We only stayed 4 nights which was fine but anymore you could do with wardrobe/drawers.

The room was way smaller than we could have ever expected …. Breakfast included was good but there was long lines and waits for the elevator. The restaurant “the corner” had staff that seemed to feel quite rude we could never get help as we are English speaking (maybe they assumed American) but the server Sofie was lovely and always came to our rescue

We had a great stay at this modern, upscale hotel. Our room was large and nicely decorated and had large windows overlooking Gothenburg from the 21st floor. The rate included spa access and daily breakfast. The spa is very good, and we took advantage of the sauna, pool and other amenities. Location is across the street from Liseberg, a large amusement park, but a bit further away from the other major tourist attractions. However, Gothenburg is not a huge city, and we were able to walk and scooter everywhere in under 40 mins. We really enjoyed our stay at the Upper House and would highly recommend it to others looking for an upscale stay.
