“This pub is a really well looked after and the rooms are super comfortable... lovely bed, large rooms... The breakfast is top quality and a great comfortable experience... The only things to note are, it is not as close to Henley as I thought, it was about 4-5 miles away and there is NO mobile reception in the pub or the rooms... if you need to make or receive any calls, you have to walk around the car park or the village for a reception...! Apart from that, I would definately go back and stay,...

“Seemed clean enough but was a bit of a dive. Noisy with fire doors banging. Parking to check in was difficult until got access to the parking thru the barrier, probably limited parking if you arrive late.”

Yet, My wife & I were given entry into the building without having completed the supposed mandatory online check-in, having only spoken to someone through the Ring doorbell camera. “Victorian house. Lots of stairs fir my room, not a problem for me but might be for others. Room was small but clean, with a nice sink and coffee/ tea making. Room hot, but there was a fan. Couldn't figure out how to set the shower, so ask when you book in. Woken by binmen earlyand traffic., so recommend Room at back of the place if possible. Didn't have tgd breakfast, so can't review. Woukd definitely use again for overnight stay.”
