“We had a very unique, characteristic room which was tidy and the bathroom, spotless. A fun way of having breakfast, with a continental style left in the fridge overnight, consisting of fruit, oats, cereal and pastries / muffins. Fresh milk and juice also provided. Although there are no staff on site, they were contactable to assist with a little teething problem which was resolved easily. Only downside to the front of the building is the road noise, but nothing that can be done about that. No...

“Parking is very convenient and close to the village centre. Staff are friendly and helpful. The room is very small and not what was advertised. It had a skylight but no windows. Towel warmer didn’t work. Breakfast hours were advertised for 9-10:30. When we arrived at 10 they told us breakfast was closed, but when I pointed out their own hours listed on the card, they did make us breakfast.”

“Great country space. Loved the location but would suggest trying to get there before dark to make it easier to find. Comfortable bed, quiet location, great access to walking trails and not too far into the town. Easy commute to Oxford, either park and ride or bus. Great facilities in the cottage.”
