“Lovely typical country pub / hotel. Very friendly welcome, room and bathroom were very clean. Good tea / coffee facilities and homemade biscuits were a bonus. Breakfast was excellent, wish we'd had time to taste lunch or dinner as it smelled fab. Next time we are visiting family nearby we will be back. Thank you”

“Great find for our visit to Newbury. Breakfast included, 4 options to choose from and served in the pub restaurant. Also ate there both nights, food and service excellent. Room had all you needed, large room plus walk in shower. ”

“Very friendly staff, beautiful location and excellent food. The cheese cake was delicious. Rooms clean and cosy. Nice touch with a note and little chocolates in room on arrival. Would happily stay again. ”
