“The room had a really strong bad smell for the duration but due to late check in we didn't ask to swap rooms. We were also in a room directly above the main road with the nightclubs below so it was very loud and the window did not shut propely. The furnishings were very dated, the wardrobe had a hole in the bottom and carpets in the hallway had not been hoovered for some time.”

“Beautiful property in the grounds of Greystoke Castle. Idyllic. The hostess was very welcoming and showed us round the room. Everything is well thought out, even provided a torch to use if you are out late. Welcome fruit and water in the fridge in the room and an extensive choice of hot drinks available to make. Fresh milk available in the room too. Very comfortable stay and wide choice of food for breakfast all freshly prepared.”

“Host was absolutely brilliant, nothing too much bother. Has a small kitchen to use. We were on motorbikes and the host was helpful in getting our gear dried as much as possible!”

“Parts need to be freshened up/ up dated, like the lift. Tha Swimming pool area, the rail rusty, floor tiles & spar changing room / shower door etc The cleanliness over most of the build was good, but parts like level 3 hall way was very poor, when the lift door opened on level 3 I was getting very worried what the room was going to be like. The room was good 😃 lovely beding⭐️ mattress ok . Staff & service brilliant from front desk to breakfast staff, Brilliant breakfast spread. thank you ⭐️”
