“The breakfast buffet was excellent although the hot buffet would benefit from closed containers as the food soon became cold from the open ones. The rooms were well heated and ventilated. All the staff were excellent and very dog friendly. My only complaint was although I had asked for a ground floor room due to problems with my knees this was not available and I had to manage the stairs which was difficult. “Regrettably our room number 6. Did not smell nice. It had the smell of old wet trainers. We did mention it and a room diffuser was turned on. Some of the fixtures and fitting were falling apart. The shower was head was not appropriate for the size of the shower causing flooding. The staff were lovely and theroom was clean.”

The bathroom was clean and tidy, but paint work and fixtures were beginning to show their age.”

“The Inn itself is lovely and great location, however there was no heating or hot water, and we checked in after getting caught in the rain on a long walk on a cold day so were really looking forward to a hot shower! There was no communication from staff about this, and no apology in the morning. Unfortunately this ruined what I’m sure would have otherwise been a lovely stay.”
