Vacations Close To Sandy Valley Ranch

This hotel goes way beyond what one would normally expect. The room was essentially a luxury apartment. Two large flatscreens. A modern bathroom with shower. A huge bathtub in the bedroom. Washer and dryer. Complete kitchen.

I would like to start out by saying this was the worst customer service experience I have ever had. When first arriving, the bartender at the front bar ignored us for so long that we had to walk away- not a good start to the trip. The front desk could not answer any of our questions and did not even attempt to get answers. The rooms service was only available once during our four-day stay with no explanation as to why it was not available. The pool was beautiful- the pool staff was rude. $130 was charged to our room by a different group even though I personally handed our check to the waitress because I knew it had our room number on it. When I saw the charge, I called the front desk and the woman (this was on Monday Aug 3 @ 9:50am) was so rude she said call back in ten minutes and HUNG UP on me. When we went down there she was even more rude. I will say Daniella and Aaliyah were very nice though. The maids never came to our room and no-we did not have the DND sign on but they DID come at 9 am when were naked getting dressed TWO HOURS before checkout! On a positive note, the staff at the spa and valet were EXCELLENT! I will never stay here again. I have not left a review on yelp or google yet but that is probably next. Also, Daniella did refund the $130 pool charge that another group somehow was able to sneak on our check. The staff (esp bartenders) complain about their jobs way too much in front of customers. I have never left a bad review in my life but I could not refrain.

Very disappointed in the property manager, for he acted accustomed to the ant problem in the kitchen. Had no compassion and I do not believe they use professional pest control. There was an ant infestation at the property kitchen! The place had no sealant nor caulk therefore the ants were coming from the cracks. The door had no proper installation and light can be seen from the outside so the bugs just walk right in. The place was clean but a pillow was already used in the unit and the bathtub was dirty. Also the bathtub water nozzle needs replacement and is quite dangerous with the hot water and getting the setting proper because it’s broken. In addition, They showed no compassion nor even care about the pest issue. They just wanna stay booked out and not care what the guest thinks. This is a very money hungry attitude. They also didn’t care that I cancel the 30 day booking due to their rudeness and no care for the situation. Best to hire managers who cringe at pests and not ones that are accustomed to living with them because not everyone wanna live with bugs! Therefore wash your stuff before you eat and wipe the countertop with a white cloth because the ants are tiny and blend in with the granite. You see pest droppings on other vacant units therefore I decided to end my stay early.
