Vacations Close To Rubicon Estate

Nice hotel and historic building, loved the style of the rooms and the vibe of the place. Warning that public parking at the recommended lot across from the hotel will charge you $46 per night. And there is no validation from the hotel, AND you cannot take your car in and out, so you will have to use public transportation or else they will charge you an additional hourly rate. It would be nice if there was some form of parking option offered by the hotel, or at least discounted rates. You will also have to carry your bags from the lot across all the way to the hotel, not a totally long commute, but inconvenient if you are looking for something more comfortable. I’ve stayed at other Pali hotels and didn’t have this experience, but I think it’s just the location that made this the case. So future guests just be aware. The bar is super nice though! And the bartender Hannah was so kind. Also the location in the city is very convenient and right next to the bus stop, so that made getting around easy.

Love this hotel..... newly renovated, great location, beautiful rooms, staff is exceptional. Love the bar and restaurant....a little tight and the martinis could be bigger but a class act! Highly recommend!

Nice hotel. Close to cable car routes. Street noise can be heard in the rooms so o recommend a higher level floor. The was only 1 elevator working until the last day. The bar hours are very limited. We wanted to grab a drink and watch the World Cup for an hour one afternoon before leaving for our July 4th festivities

Loved this hotel. I stayed in the new part and everything was great. Enjoyed my balcony looking over the city, the room was perfect size and bed was comfortable. Customer service was top notch, small but nice pool, and location couldn't be better, easy access to all transit San Francisco has to offer. Definitely recommend this hotel and will stay again.

Location was very convenient. The staff and site were great. With Pride going on right in the front we were able to still get around easily.

The neighborhood is not ideal, lots of drug houses nearby. Sad to see.
