“The code for the wasn’t sent to me, but a phone call fixed that. There are no staff so everything is done by phone or message. Car park is nearby and reasonable. The room was fine with a good shower although it smelt as if someone had been smoking on the landing (not the room) Breakfast is very basic, toast, yoghurt Nescafé and cereals. But that was ok. It’s fine for two nights but I wouldn’t have wanted to stay for a lot longer. Good value overall if basic. ”

“A lovely hotel and restaurant. The room was very good, roomy with a huge bed which was super comfortable. Bathroom was quite small with nowhere to hang towels but shower was excellent. Breakfast was from a menu selection and was excellent quality. Staff were friendly and helpful and there was a lovely atmosphere. There was live music on the Friday night which stopped at 11pm. Whilst near the town centre, it is tucked away in a lane and is very quiet and I slept soundly. Sue provided a few essentials to get you started.
