“Only stayed one night, stafff were very helpful and the meals were great. Fully enjoyed.”

“Hottest day in May on record and the heating was on in my room. After speaking with staff three times and an hour and a half later, I was moved to another room. In spite of the wonderful advert featuring a restaurant I was told no kitchen tonight. Second room was very noisy overlooking the car park which doubles as a camping ground for motor homes, with ten present. No mattress cover and a very dirty mattress. “Overall the hotel was really nice, and they have fantastic views, either over the large pond or over the canal over breakfast. It was in need of a little TLC especially in our bedroom. We did find the buffet a bit disappointing as it was cold and appeared to have been there since first thing (we were there an hour after service started).
