“From check in to departure, although only one night, this was a great place to. Check in was simple, and the staff very friendly, helpful and chatty. “2nd visit here and now our last. Arrived early and although the room wasn’t ready we were told our number. We returned later and went to the room after collecting the key. It was dinner time so we went down to get a meal and was told that food was t served after 7.30 , although the information in the room said we could get room service until 9pm. We were told that there wasn’t a menu for room service, so we went to the local garage for a sandwich. After breakfast the next morning we went to...

“Very stylish and comfortable room, from which we could (just) hear the babbling brook out back. The breakfast was excellent. My only complaint was that the mattress, while supremely comfortable, had less than optimal edge support. As a result, I kept feeling like I was going to roll out of bed.”
