“Perfect hosts in an amazing building! You would struggle to find more genuine, hospitable and friendly people than Carrie and Mike. Outside there is plenty of parking and beautiful grounds. Step inside, the rooms are generous, clean and with everything you could need. The breakfasts are lovely and nothing is too much. We will definitely be back, thank you! ”

“The Slate is a lovely place, clearly a lot of thought and care has gone into the decor. Everything was spotless and well looked after. “We stayed in the family apartment which was a bedroom downstairs, a bedroom upstairs, a bathroom with shower and we had a small corner kitchen that had everything you could need. In a beautiful area, so quiet and peaceful, loved the scenery. Great communication off the owners and a warm welcome. Would recommend and would stay again”

“Yr Hen Farcdy is wonderful accommodation in a beautiful setting, close to Snowdonia and all the special areas of north Wales. The rooms are comfortable, attractive and private, and the hosts Mike and Sue could not be more hepful. The breakfasts are delicious with a great range of options. We loved our 6 nights there and highly recommend it as a base fir exploring the region, or a spot for just chilling out.”

“I found the staff very friendly and helpful. On my first night the weather was awful and sadly the room had a few leaks. I informed the staff the next morning to make them aware. Water damage is not good. They immediately asked if my suitcase was ok and asked if I needed anything drying. They then proceeded to move me to a lovely big room, which was lovely and very spacious 😀”
