“Staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms are a bit dated but otherwise everything was in working order and spacious. Restaurant is very nice and our breakfast was great.”

“No air conditioning. No fridge. No telephone. Rooms made up every 3rd day is normal practice, they said if we wanted everyday they would mark it as such. Still no room made up after 3 days. Trash left outside the room was left over the weekend. Guests have to fetch clean towels from a supply room. Someone had vomited in the elevator and the smell was horrible. Stayed there 6 years ago and it was fine. It has gone downhill. Rooms were shabby with no maintenance”

“Estuvimos únicamente una noche, lo justo para acceder al aeropuerto de Manchester temprano al día siguiente. El hotel, en líneas generales, está bien, habitación amplia y confortable. El desayuno lo encargas el día antes en base a 4 opciones a elegir, lo recoges por la mañana en una bolsa y puedes comerlo allí mismo, llevarlo o subirlo a la habitación. “Always a fantastic stay at this lovely pub. Manager is so friendly and helpful. We have eaten here the two times we have stayed and the food is also really good, with fantastic service. Rooms are characterful, clean and lovely and quiet for sleeping. Beautiful location in a very pretty village - a wonderful base for exploring this lovely part of Lancashire.”
