From check in to departure, although only one night, this was a great place to. Check in was simple, and the staff very friendly, helpful and chatty. The room was perfect and a great view over the small farm next to it. The food was very good (fish and chips) , and again the staff were helpful, attentive and friendly. The room came with a help yourself little breakfast, which was tea/coffee, toast and cereal, which was very nice. There were amenities in the bathroom although a little small! The bed was very comfortable. If in the area again, I would stay there in a heartbeat!

Clean,friendly,lovely location and nice staff. For a three star it’s definitely only just missing out on being a four star as was hard to fault and we had a great two nights there. Food was very good,staff were friendly and attentive,rooms clean and warm with nice fittings and drinks at the bar reasonably priced. Will be staying again as loved our visit and did some great walking in the local area.

Great small homely hotel with fabulous views of the hills and moors. Nice bar and lounge with excellent breakfast in morning. We stayed in main hotel but the little cabins look fab. Will come back to try one. Great place to stay when visiting the area. Great night out in uppermill … lots of pubs and restaurants just 2 miles away
