Chalets en Ragnall

“Friendly staff, good pub attached with good food. Breakfast was tasty but did take a while to arrive (30mins). Room was clean, but tired and in need of some repairs (bathroom doorframe and main light fittings). Good place for an overnight stop.”

“The room wasn’t clean, the headboard on the bed was worn and ripped, underneath the bed was filthy and full of hairs, a previous guests glasses were left in the room, a small used soap bar used unhygienic and not enough for 2 guests, other items were also not replenished, despite having a previous stay at this hotel which was good this one did not live up to the previous standard and the member of staff on reception was also quite rude”

Parts of the carpet were sticky and stained and there was a huge crack in the outside of the bath which looked like someone had booted it. I reported this on the 1st night and they said they would have it looked at but it's unknown if anyone did. Also had to go request more toilet roll as they seemed to think 1 already-started roll was going to do 3 of us for a full weekend. Didn't really interact with anyone outside of these...
