“It's a pretty setting and the room was clean. They seemd a little short staffed and, although the food was good, the tables were dirty and (bizarrely) the host told us the half empty restuarant was 'fully booked'. When we saw many empty tables, we asked the bar tender if it would be possible to order food and he was happy to oblige! Also, the lighting in our room was broken, the only way to have light was to keep the harsh overhead light on. The receptionist promised to send a service person but...

“Hotel is very tired, room requested was not ready and was told we needed to wait even though it was 1 hour 20 minutes after check in opened. We agreed to an alternative room with twin beds pushed together even we requested a double. The breakfast was good., didn't bother with the spa as it was in a different building.”

“Lovely stay, busy at the time of visiting but staff stayed calm and helpful and the hotel is big enough to cope with multi function events. Ideal location for visiting area. Food good and breakfast particular enjoyable being replenished regularly.”

“The Hotel was lovely. Staff very helpful. Room clean and comfortable. Breakfast very good, lots to choose from. We only stayed one night ready for a nearby wedding but unfortunately did not get much sleep due to noisy neighbours..singing, shouting to each other, banging doors and phone ringing/vibrating. We heard them between 2 am and 4 am.”
