My only minor criticism is being 6’3 the light they’d fitted to the single room was basically at face height so I cracked my head a couple of times getting in and out of bed. Otherwise would recommend for a cheap stay.”

“Check in was advertised at 3.00pm, arrived at 4.50pm but room was not available & hadn't been cleaned as the cleaner didn't turn up? Menu was reduced as the chef didn't turn up either and no toilet rolls in the bathroom. I gave my breakfast order the night before but it was not passed onto the cover chef in the morning, so in all not a great experience but...would I stay there again...definitely yes. “We had to stay at the Rock Inn last minute for a wedding after our airbnb fell through and it was so much better than our original plans. The staff was so helpful and kind, the food was amazing (we had dinner there, as well as the breakfast included with the room fee), and the old pub interiors were so cozy. The rooms could be considered a bit 'dated' but everything was in great condition and very clean so it added to the charm (not to mention the retro gin and whiskey dispenser decoration in...
