Vacations Close To San San Beach

Amazing property with a lot of activities, food options and an overall good experience for couples. My wife and I enjoyed the experience.

Beautiful complex, good staff

The beach was beautiful and the water was nice and warm. The food throughout the resort other than the one lunch grill place was great. The lunch grill took a very long time and wasn’t very good. We paid for a beach view upgrade but the room did not have any beach views unless you went outside on your balcony and sat on the far chair.

The room was spacious and clean. There were no weird decorations. The housekeepers were very nice. The hotel grounds are stunning. We liked the romantic vibes. There were happy, beautiful couples wandering around the hotel. The beach is breathtaking and huge. There are lots of lounges. However, there were lots of beach hustlers. The food was mediocre. We decided to go to the buffet only because we had a hard time finding what we liked. The fruit selection was very limited, which is weird for the Caribbean. The morning staff at the buffet was less friendly than the evening staff. If you buy a garden-view room, be ready to be on the far side of the hotel, next to the road and construction. The only major downside of our trip was the drive to the hotel. It was two hours long. The road was rough.

We just spent 7 nights at Royal Plantation. What a beautiful and special place. The grounds are immaculately kept and there is a great sense of pride from all staff in making the resort feel more like a home away from home. Every single staff member we interacted with were so friendly and took time out of their day to stop and have a chat. We loved meeting all of them. We always felt so well taken care of. There was nothing that was ever too much trouble. The room was beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. Our butlers Anthony and Robert made us feel so special and we loved all the little surprises they arranged. The general manager Omar is a huge credit to Sandals and does an incredible job making you aware of his presence and checking in on us to ask if there was anything we needed. The food and drinks are 10/10 we did not have a bad meal and there were many stand out dishes. We hope to be back and see everyone again very soon. Thank you
