“The room was as hot as a sauna. We needed to ask for a fan and the fan that was given o us was filty. The loft area, neither myself or my husabnd could stand up straight. The bathroomw as filled with mold around the shower bed and the room was not cleaned fromt he previous guest. We would never ever come back here!”

The hosts are polite, supportive, and welcoming, and my apartment was lovely – overlooking the coastline and catching a great breeze thanks to its elevation. My only concern was the shower: a tiny ~90cm x 90cm (3ft x 3ft) square tucked in the corner of the bathroom, just a curtain, and a handheld showerhead you have to hold the whole time. It made showering genuinely frustrating and not very pleasant. Lesson learned – I'll pay closer...
