“Impeccably clean room next to the beach with plenty of amenities and a well kept garden. Small crowded pool unfortunately shared with other properties. Excellent restaurants nearby as is a supermarket with large selections of drinks. Good value for a room, albeit it is small, in the better part of Platanias. Also close to bus stop for visits to Chania. Two rows of sun beds managed by this property on the beach at 10euros per day which can add up to a hefty bill! Also beware tourist taxes at end...

“We booked this hotel nearly a year before we travelled. We wanted somewhere warm with fun evenings and a great beach for the whole family and this seemed to fit the bill. However what we didn’t realise is that the resort is actually closed as it was so early in the season. There was nothing on the beach, only 1 restaurant was open and the shops were all closed. Whilst I do acknowledge we should have researched this more , all of the research I did do let me to this resort. The local taxi driver...

“El apartamento está bastante completo y en buen estado. El trato muy amable del servicio del apartamento. Lo que no me gustó era la bañera que no tenía cortina y era media bañera, costaba mucho ducharse y se quedaba el lavabo mojado. En general la estancia estuvo muy bien.”

“The one bed suite was very spacious and comfortable. Plenty of sun loungers and tables outside including own chairs directly outside room. Really friendly and welcoming staff. Short walk via hill into town. Ideal place for exploring hiking trails and Platanias. No shop or restaurant on site but plenty in local area so not an issue. Pool a decent size and well maintained. Great view.”
