“Abbey House is a really good hotel - one of our favourites. The building and its settings are very impressive and very well kept. All members of staff that we met and dealt with were friendly, helpful and cheerfully efficient. This hotel really does deserve to succeed. The only minor fault was in the restaurant where the service could be slow and the waiting staff not quite as attentive as they might be. “Decent for the price, breakfast selection hardly a buffet, only option being individual pots of what makes up an English breakfast. Rooms spacious yet walls very thin and the light from under the door is noticeable, staff were somewhat attentive .”

I was very disappointed to be staying at the back of a garage and not in the actual hotel. I don’t think this was very clear when booking. If I had known I would not have booked. It certainly was not worth £159”
