Vacations Close To Lagunas de Zempoala National Park

What a perfect location! Walking distance to the bus and train. A few blocks from shopping and vendors. Very peaceful.

Everything was wonderful! I appreciated that we were able to get into our room as soon as it was ready, since we'd had an early day of travel and were hoping to take a quick nap before starting our trip. Our hotel room was tidy and spacious. I loved that we had a space to place our luggage as well as plenty of closet space. The security helped make the space feel extra safe, even though La Condesa is already an incredibly safe and walkable area. I recommend checking out Mendl Delicatessen nearby! The only downside was having our room be on the fourth floor and walking up those flights of stairs after long days. Otherwise, it was a perfect stay!

Go somewhere else.

Maria Condesa is a gem. We absolutely loved our stay. The staff was so friendly and helpful, the room is nicely decorated with a very comfortable bed, and the gorgeous bathroom and built in sauna was a very nice bonus. The sauna smelled amazing. I appreciated the assortment of Mexican treats handpicked by the owner and the complimentary bottle of wine. Our complimentary breakfast was delicious in the large sunlit room. Highly recommend!

We checked in on Monday 7/20/2026 and checked out on Sunday 7/26/2026. There is a new Roof Top bar/restaurant going in that is supposed to open on 8/1/2026. We were placed in room 501 which is right underneath the rooftop. While the restaurant isn't open yet, plenty of work was taking place in preparation for the opening. Since Monday 7/20/2026 you could hear work being done, chairs or tables being dragged across the floor, people talking, and it continued all week. One of the nights, we returned from exploring the city only to find a baby stroller right in front of our room door. I had to call the front desk, they informed me it belonged to an employee of the new restaurant and had it moved. We now had to deal with a crying child in an Adults only hotel. The next evening, the baby stroller was once again in front of our room door. I walked upstairs to the new rooftop bar to ask them to remove it. To make matters worse, the rooftop bar had a soft opening on Saturday night 7/25/2026 with a DJ a lot of people. The party didn't stop until 1:20am. Definitely not what I paid for. While one of the managers tried to do her best (Jessica), it was too little too late. If the hotel knew this separate entity (the rooftop) was doing work, they should've offered me a different room from the start. Great location, poor communication between hotel and restaurant.

Very comfortable, warm ambiance, great location. I’d definitely stay here again.
