Vacations Close To Helen Tubing & Helen Water Park

This experience was infuriating and still completely unresolved. My pay-at-property reservation was mysteriously cancelled siting ‘no credit card on-file’. Upon arriving at the hotel to check-in, I was informed that the reservation had been cancelled, despite receiving confirmation emails from Expedia/Hotels.com four hours prior with instructions to pay-at-property. The hotel let us know they were fully booked. I did not lose money but wasted hours on the phone trying to sort out the issue and still ended up having to find another hotel. I was disappointed with the disorganization, lack of communication and what I felt was a money grab to re-sell my room at a higher price.

The room we had could definitely use a fresh coat of paint, especially the ceiling. The room had a very strong smell of perfume which I found to be a bit odd. I have stayed in many hotels, and I never had that experience. The breakfast was ok - nothing special.

Bed frame mattress was in was not clean. Air went out in room throughout the night. Called desk and was told someone will call me back. Instead of calling to resolve the issue. My son had to go to the front desk to get it handled by asking for me to be put in another room. That room toilet did not flush well. Had to wait until water slowly build in tank to flush toilet when using it. Cooler box in each room was not cool or cold more like lukewarm.Patio area was not clean. Breakfast buffet and coffee was lukewarm for $19.99. Staff check in was pleasant and friendly. Other staff members along with security were unprofessional playing and laughing as if they were at a social event and not at work. Which requires them to be professional. Parking deck was dirty. Overall experience was of an average at best.

The staff were really kind and helpful. I would like to acknowledge that first. The rooms were big and clean. My mom and stepdad enjoyed the breakfast a lot. But outside the rooms, there were large bugs. I would encourage you to sweep up the dead bugs outside the rooms daily. The rooms also have a mildewy smell. However for the cost, this hotel is a decent option.

Boutique hotel with an outdoor dining space great dining And a speakeasy to cap off the night. Walking distance to downtown shops dining will definitely rebook.

Had a hard time getting into the apartment other then that it was ok
