“The lady on reception last night was lovely. Showed us round the facilities and to my room. Bedroom was clean and tidy. Was going for an operation so want able to do breakfast but I’d definitely book again and bring my girls. The hotel was a lovely old manor style house with all its features.”

“The property is very central and has easy access to the city centre. The room was spacious but the pub is quite loud at night and you could hear the music until past midnight. You were just given a key and shown where the room was and that was it. The room only had a bath and I wasn’t aware of that”

“Definitely a 5 star B&B. Lovely big room with terrace seating outside, overlooking the sheep and guinea fowl in the fields. Loads of parking. Very clean and well presented. The owners have pretty much thought of everything to make your stay comfortable and feel homely. Breakfast, with loads of choice, is cooked freshly to order in the area that serves as a bistro on several evenings in the week. “This countryside property just outside Thirsk is easy to find and offers a wonderful, peaceful retreat. The room was spotlessly clean, featuring a great shower, huge plush towels, bathrobes, and slippers. Having access to a pool and hot tub was a fantastic bonus.
