“Initial impression- good. Car park all gravel but plenty of parking. Reception - water on offer but it was empty. Were told our booking didn’t include breakfast but included 20% off food and soft drinks. Nice because we had forgotten. No information on where restaurant or bars not a big problem but it is nice to be told. We booked a table for dinner. Was given our room key. We asked if it was possible to walk along the river from the back of the restaurant… no access it is only from the other...

But having paid a relatively premium price for bed and breakfast, only to find a limited smaller choice included (with every extra costing more) we found it disappointing. “Sitting the outside seating area finishing a coffee we had bought whilst walking the high street ready have a few drinks with friends and was told I had leave and drink in my room as they sold coffee Which was the worst coffee I had in a while as I had had 1 that morning and left it which they tried to charge me for twice”
