Listen, I really like this hotel. I stood here once in 2024 and got a deluxe king room. The room is always immaculate, everything is always really neat and in its place never out of place. And I recently took a solo trip, and stood one day before my cruise, and since I was just coming from Naples, I got the early check-in and that was fantastic and worked out well. And towards the end of my cruise, I got a wild hair and booked a deluxe king room again the day after my cruise. I also got the early check-in that day but I got there really early and the room was actually ready at 8:30 9 o’clock!! would’ve been a really early check-in! But they keep their early check-in rooms, a little bit lower than what I wanted, so I asked if I can get a room on a higher level, and none of them were ready yet, so the man took my number down and called me when one is ready and fulfilled my request of getting on a higher room. They’re excellent there. I also found out that they are pet friendly so I’m gonna take some random trips to Miami now from Tampa. And I’m staying at the Grayson.

I was very disappointed with my stay at Icon Brickell, especially as a parent traveling with children. The apartment and overall property did not match what was presented in the photos, which was disappointing from the start. At the pool, I was supervising three children at all times, but we were repeatedly approached about rules that had not been clearly communicated. I was first told I had to be inside the pool with the children, which I did. Then, one child was told he could not jump in, even though he was wearing a life jacket and I was supervising him. Later, we entered the hot pool and were only then told that children must be over 5 years old. I understand that safety rules are necessary, but they should be clearly posted and explained in advance. Families should know these restrictions before entering the pool area. What was supposed to be an enjoyable family stay became stressful and uncomfortable. Based on my experience, I would not recommend Icon Brickell to families with young children.
