“stayed here before and love the place. The room is tastefully decorated as is the house. The bed super comfortable and sheets top notch, so smooth and cosy. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Hosts friendly and helpful as always. Cute seating area in the garden, plenty of parking and easy access to town, public transport. Will definitely stay again.”

“I would like to ask for a full refund really but I know I won't get one. We were left in property on our own and told to lock up when we come and go. The sheets on the beds were dirty. Bathroom dirty. Tea and coffee in the room but no milk. We left at half 4 in the morning with little or no sleep at all. Terrible place ”

“We booked The Bat and Ball for just 1 night as we were attending a wedding nearby. It was perfect for what we needed. Communication was great and the room was a really good size with an impressive bathroom. Fans had been put into our room and left on to ensure it was nice and cool when we arrived. The only downside was it is on a busy road so be prepared for a lot of road noise in the morning.”

“Advertised as an apartment with breakfast included. But in reality is a chalet bedroom and ensuite. Breakfast was 2 mini yogurts in the fridge, a couple of tiny croissants and cereals. Beverages are DIY. Check in is via a member of staff behind the bar in the pub. Unresponsive to phone calls with the number provided prior to the stay where I attempted to know if there was possibility of an earlier check-in but since not being able to get through I had to check-in at the standard 3pm.
