“Back garden overgrown and strewn with rubbish and overflowing ashtrays. Not a very clean or safe environment if guests have children or dogs. The boiler pressure meant no hot water on several occasions. House was comfortable, but in need of some maintenance.”

“House was great exactly what we were hoping for. Clean and in a great location. Parking is on street for those wondering although wasn't a huge problem. ”

“A wonderful 2 night stay in the cottage tucked away but really close to the excellent butchers and bakers, for takeaway breakfasts and a few mins walk to wonderful pubs and restaurants and cliff walks. Walked to Bamburgh along the beach and back. Great to have off street parking, a little garden,and lovely kitchen and bathroom. Our host was brilliant and very helpful and responsive and I would definitely recommend a stay. ”

“We really enjoyed our stay at Cote cottage and it was the perfect size for us. It had everything we wanted. It is slightly remote and peaceful but that's exactly what we wanted, however it's not far to get to local amenities. Check in was a smooth process. There is also free on-site parking for the car which was a must for us. The beds were comfy too. In the end, we were sad to leave. We will definitely look to coming back if we're in the area again!”

“Beautiful Location and Immaculate Cottage! Everything spot on. Just a 5 min walk from the Wedding Venue. Local Spar shop with everything you need (or forgot!). Hosts are easily contactable via email, text or phone. Highly recommend this Cottage. Definately stay again!”

“Lage: Das Cottage liegt etwa 80 km vom Flughafen Newcastle entfernt – mitten im Nirgendwo, und genau das macht den Reiz aus. Absolute Ruhe, kein Licht in der Nacht – ideal für Sternenbeobachtung oder Nachtfotografie! Die Zufahrtsstraße ist eher ein Feldweg – wenn dir hier jemand entgegenkommt, wird’s spannend. Direkt unterhalb des Cottages liegt eine alte Ruine – vielleicht ehemalige Stallungen oder ein Lagerhaus? Niemand weiß es genau. Bis nach Bamburgh sind es ca. 2 km, zur Burg etwa 4 km, und...
