“It was located in a quiet historic village. The room was nice . Comfy bed , nice shower and bathroom. An Excellent full breakfast! And all for a very good price! 🙂”

“Unfortunatly the Pecking Mill Inn was in need of a good clean. Very dated and forgotton. There were beer pumps but not in use. Cans were poured into our glasses and price was not cheaper. Food was on offer but we chose not to beat. Room was unclean. Did not use shower. Geoff was a lovely host and welcomed us.”

“The place is just a nicley kept pub, with a very good food and drinks menu + some kraft beers, our room was a little small but was clean with tea and coffee making facilities, breakfast was very good and the staff very helpful, yep we would stay there again, but in a larger room.”

“Lovely staff.”

“Nice good sized room and very clean. Great staff and a good selection of food.”

“Feeling like at home, thanks Hayley for everything”

“David muy buen anfitrión y delicioso su desayuno”

“Worst night sleep I’ve had! The hotel seemed dated, the room was freezing cold, it wasnt the cleanest and the curtain was broken. There were small velux type windows in the room with no blinds and a very bright green emergency exit light above the bed. The shower was powerful but unable to move the head very much which resulted in a jet blast to the forhead and nowhere else. It was a maze to get to the room, of which you needed to remember 2 different key-codes before getting to your door....

“This hotel was good value for money. The restaurant was closed in the evening when I stayed, so I had to go out for a meal, but the receptionist made good recommendations for places I could go. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable.”

“We were only given 1 teabag for our stay. No hot water in the hand basin for shaving.”
