“Points that could use improvement; Unfortunately, same furnishings as when I stayed 20 years ago. So didn’t feel overly clean. Outdoor stairs not connected to patio, blankets etc also ild and do not feel the cleanest. Although the further down the hill the cottages are the better the view Cottage 3 is advertised as ocean view and it is not. Partial ocean peek if you sit on one corner of deck against the rail As most cottages on the island it is overpriced although better priced than others. ...

“If you’re looking for a place to stay that’s close to concert venues, amusements parks, and restaurants outside the city then Avonlea Cottages is the go. If you’re ever short and in need of supplies, there’s a grocery store just across the street. As for the cottage itself, it’s pretty good for the price you pay, you basically get everything you need for a short or long stay. Only thing I would like to mention is that there’s no strong kitchen ventilation so if you plan on cooking inside, beware...

“My family really enjoyed this cottage! Its very roomy, and close to everything. The cottage was very clean, modern, and felt like we were right at home! * Our only negative would be that the wifi was extremely slow so it was hard to connect the TV streaming services and use our phones. We will definitely be back! Our favorite spot we've stayed in cavendish yet!”
