“Lovely setting, great welcome, food superb, staff friendly and helpful We had the suite (kingfisher) which was an excellent room except for a radiator being stuck on in the bathroom. The lady in charge (lovely lass) managed to get it sorted as the outside temp was up in the 30’s!!! If I have any criticism of the room, a little use of bleach would have gone a long way but please don’t let that put you off. The place is very very good. “Lovely country pub,spacious clean room with lovely big bathroom,really comfortable bed.Had a lovely evening meal, the waitress was really helpful and got our order in quickly after giving us the heads up that there were a lot of large parties in that evening and ordering promptly would be beneficial,food was amazing and good value. Breakfast the next morning was a wide choice and the hosts at the property were brilliant.Would definitely stay again and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to others.”

If a client is using derogatory foul audible language aimed at women in the bar area they should be asked to stop by the manager/bar tender - it’s not pleasant to be subjected to this if you’re sitting quietly trying to enjoy your own drink .
