“A lovely hotel, in a beautiful building, with great service. On arrival we had a quick check-in, having previously received a QR code through completing pre-check in online at the request of the hotel. We then got to choose from a wide range of bathroom amenities to take to our room. The room was fairly spacious, with high ceilings and the beds were very comfortable. A good shower and of course a Japanese toilet! There is a free wine tasting in the early evening, including some local wines,...

“The hotel is well located just opposite the JR Otaru station. The room is clean and decent. The size is quite standard in Japan. It will be starting renovation in April and we are excited to stay afterwards. ”

“Clean, friendly staff, easy check in, and overall pleasant! Note that breakfast is not available in the summer, which we learned when we arrived. Also, the beds are very springy and uncomfortable. We were super tired so slept fine anyways, but definitely consider if it’s important to you! Overall an easy and cheap stay.”
