Vacations Close To Niagara Wax Museum of History

A beautiful spot, large room, very helpful staff and close to everything we were there for (concert at art park and shopping and eating and drinking downtown).

I enjoyed staying here and the history of the hotel.

Very cool building! Rooms small but comfortable. Gym equipment was not functional...I tried 4 machines and settled on a bike that did not squeak. But overall neat place with friendly staff!

Was a great stay

The bed is comfortable and the room was clean, with one glaring exception—there was a dirty towel hanging on a hook in the bathroom. Carpets in the halls are shabby and stained. The shower controls are extremely fussy and the shower floor is very slippery. We asked for a shower mat and were given an extra bath rug instead. That said, I slept very well and the coffee in the coffee shop is very good.

The front desk staff was very polite, friendly, and helpful. Unfortunately, the room itself wasn’t quite as clean as we expected. There was quite a bit of spider web near the bed, which we had to remove ourselves so it wouldn’t fall on us while we were sleeping. The shampoo dispenser also needed to be refilled. The room door was a difficult to close and required a lot of force to properly lock. Parking was also limited when we arrived, so there weren’t enough regular spots available. The staff allowed us to park in an EV spot, which we appreciated. Overall, it was okay for a one-night stay, especially given the helpful and friendly staff, but there are some areas where the room maintenance and cleanliness could be improved.
