“Rather an odd property, at the race course. Took ages for staff to assist with check-in. Rooms were clean and comfortable, although no air-con. A fan was provided thankfully. We had a poor experience at the restaurant for dinner, staff were slow and didn't seem interested in serving us. Food was not impressive, either over or under-cooked. However, the cooked breakfast in the morning saved the stay, it was very good and quick.”

“Hotel on first impression looks good however further inspection shows it is in need of updating. Many aspects of the room upon arrival, batnroom plus hole and soap dish limescale and dirty, no aircon, kettle had limescale, tpilet roll holder loose. One lift out of action as was the jacuzzi. Manager was rude, told me to stop talking when trying to address concerns and made excuses when issues raised in writing.. Spa staff nice that we came across. Breakfast okay.
