“The room was very clean. It was right off the road so there was the noise of traffic. It also is right above the restaurant outdoor dining/bar area and it looks like there is live music there often so that may be unappealing for people looking for a quiet lake getaway. There is an excellent restaurant on site with beach front tables and a marina. It looks like it gets very busy there on weekends with boat traffic and tourists. “We were at the Avon Inn for a very brief overnight stay, motivated by history behind the institution. As the sole remaining hotel from Avon's history as a destination for its springs, it is still the center of a lovely small town. Service was friendly and efficient and we would have been glad to spend another day or two there.”
