This is a lovely old inn in a small town. Lots of charm and interesting décor with wonderful, helpful staff. We also ate at the restaurant twice – one great meal and one ok. But very nice ambience. Keep in mind that this is not some cookie cutter chain hotel. Note about the area, there are several restaurants/bars within walking distance. But not on a Sunday!

Dining facilities are very nice and the staff is friendly. The rooms need a little more attention to detail cleaning wise. Steps upstairs needed cleaning. Room was very limited in electrical plugs. They need to put in socket extenders. Bathroom was small but adequate. I really like the place's history and I feel the owners do a good job of keeping the place historically intact.

My wife and I have stayed at Avon Inn twice and we absolutely love it! It's very clean, well maintained and beautiful. The owner Jennifer does an outstanding job and is very accommodating. The town of Avon has everything you need. We highly recommend staying here. We will definitely be back.

This was our second stay at Avon Inn and it was lovely. The inn itself is beautiful. The rooms are lovely and unique-not cookie cutter. The restaurant at the inn serves great food and has great service. It’s a great little place to stay if you’re in that area.
