“Nice clean apartment ..Lovely quiet place.Host friendly and helpful.The accommodation is set in an area where there are nice walks.Plenty of fish in the lake.Close to visiting areas such as Lincoln Mablethorpe and Doddington Hall.”

“The rooms were clean and appeared recently refurbished. The bar was well stocked. Topical large pub atmosphere with bingo and karaoke. Does have large signs outside advertising food. Steak House Sunday carvery Good food available. Unfortunately there is no food of any description No Breakfast no lunches or evening meals. Not even bar snacks type food Nothing! Should not advertise as Hotel but Pub with good rooms above.”

“We had a difficult time getting checked in, as there was no one there when we arrived and my US phone had a hard time connecting to the posted UK number. But the owner arrived soon and everything was great! The restaurant is very unique with lots of antiques, and the food was fabulous! Breakfast was made to order and fabulous!! I highly recommend!”

“Lodge was more spacious then we expected, with everything we needed for a 3 night stay. Hot tub was a hit with us all and in a private spot.”

“Asked for sea veiw, didnt get it. single room(314) very small, en suite not great broken sink plug, very small basin and a very uncomfortable toilet. Have had much better accomodation for less money. Breakfast was good but nothing special. Bar mostly unattended, a note saying go to reception if you require service. Generally disapointed so would not stay again. On the plus side a lovely building and good location. A shame as i was so looking forward to it.”
