“Clean and comfortable hotel. Not very conveniently located though. Not actually close to the airport. Requires a $20 taxi ride. Although shuttle is available but it’s cash only and doesn’t run in the evenings.”

I had to fly urgently for family matters, from Barcelona, so a long haul flight in an aerial sardine can, the reviews for the View were good and the location was convenient. I got room 205 which was pleasantly located on top of the highway, just metres from roaring trucks and ambulances. There was no double or triple glazing so it felt like I was sleeping by traffic lights (the fact was sleep was impossible). The room should have been used as a storeroom, but yet, $180...
