“The breakfast is amazing. The room is cozy and the bed is comfortable. The host which is the owner are very kind and helpful. I will definitely come back again. Highly recommended.”

“Excellent Breakfast - continental and cooked. Rooms are quaint - Wooden beams and low ceilings in places, and floors have unevenness of old floors. Staircases are steep and narrow. Rooms have plenty of space. Our room had a bath and shower attachment but other rooms have shower so one might need to ask if you have a preference. Very helpful staff. Dinner was good but a little pricey (maybe that was par for the area?). Outside area was beautiful - on the cricket green. Lots of parking space...

“Family room booked for three adults. Arrived to find two single beds. Booking confirmation states someone would be there to greet us. No-one was around. Fortunately we got through to somebody by phone and were able to get into the room but they were not able to provide us anywhere to stay for the three adults we had booked and paid for. The floor, bedding and toilet were clean. However, the windows were covered in cobwebs, the chairs were stained, there were not enough cups for all three of us,...

“The host was very warm and welcoming, the location was easy to get to by train and the freshly prepared breakfast was also very good. Highly recommended!”

“Decent size room, the bathroom floor was covered in hair which was disappointing. The room and amenities were fine, easily travelling distance to the Ally Pally”

“Comfortable room with shared kitchen and breakfast included”

“Our stay at The Brownswood was perfect. Sonya greeted us with a smile on day 1 and ensured we were comfortable for our whole trip - she was amazing. Great breakfast, easy access to our room, we were made to feel at home from the very start. We will be back”
