“Had a lovely stay at the Townhouse hotel, Melrose. Stayed for 2 nights in a delux double room which was a large room with a sofa area in addition to a large bed. Staff were lovely and helpful. Breakfast had a good array of choices, freshly prepared. We didn’t have dinner in the hotel but the dining room was very busy so food must have been good. Would stay again.”

“Very disappointing. I paid £98 for a very basic twin room for 1 night. Only 1 bed was made up and room was clean but very dated, and the property and grounds have seen better days and are overall quite scruffy. No TV in room but was told I could watch TV downstairs if I wanted to. The shower didn't work properly - either scalding hot or dribbled out cold water. Sink took ages to drain, noisy radiator. “Nos fustó todo, habitación enorme y preciosa...un poco calurosa pero abriendo la puerta de la terraza perfecto. La cena y desayuno en el alojamiento muy bien también. Fue nuestro último día de viaje por Escocia y la verdad que fue la guinda al viaje”
