“What a perfect place to stay. Room was large and comfortable. Emiko was a lovey host full of great suggestions on what to do locally. Breakfast was very tasty but the real added extra was the on site bar with what seemed like 100s of different whiskeys which Emiko was very knowledgable on and happy to help you find one to enjoy. We will be back. ”

It is well located, within walking distance to a main line station, bus network as well as a narrow gauge railway. There are also electric car charging facilities at a nearby car park. The food was good and all the staff were helpful and friendly.”

The staff are lovely, efficient, and professional- we were even allowed to check in early and received a wonderful room upgrade on arrival! A few small improvements would make the experience even better: Cleanliness- There were a few spiderwebs on our ceiling that were missed during room prep. “We have enjoyed a fantastic 2 night stay, the location was spot on only 2 minutes to Lake Windermere and the ferry landing point. Colin is the perfect host, very attentive, knowledgeable of the area and looked after us well. Breakfast was a lovely; full English in a cosy setting. The room was fine with all amenities. It was our birthdays whilst there and Colin decorated the room, these touches are most appreciated. Definitely recommend 10/10”
