Middle Grove Vacations

The front desk clerk was helpful and polite. The small breakfast offerings were slim with a very small area for patrons to sit and eat. We chose to go off property to find breakfast. The mattresses in our room seemed broken down but we did sleep ok. The issue came to the bathroom in our room. The room may have been hurriedly cleaned as the floor in the whole room was very wet due to just being mopped. The housekeeping staff needs to be shown how to disinfect a toilet seat better and the tub caulking desperately needed to be redone. There was so much mildew and mold, we wouldn’t have even considered taking a shower in it! The fact that Wyndham has their name attached to this tells me that they aren’t sending anyone out to look at the daily protocols or putting any emphasis on the condition of this place! Look elsewhere for a room to stay and spend a little more money to do so….

The staff is very accommodating and pleasant

I rated many areas of this hotel as excellent but the largest negative is the location. Didn’t feel too safe as the area of Albany area is somewhat rundown and homeless individuals that seemed as though they were on substance or schizophrenic.

The hotel was clean and well maintained, the shower was great, the breakfast was fine and the staff were friendly. There was not free Wi-Fi unless you’re a rewards member which was a bit annoying and the TV didn’t have access to streaming platforms which is a nice perk. We would definitely stay here again.

Good

Great stay overall. Staff was friendly and helpful. It is a bit hard to find the hotel from the road as the sign is hidden. Pool was great. Had one issue when we got back late and both keycards did not work. Was not happy about this as we were trying to keep two kids asleep. Overall, great stay. Would probably stay here again.
