It’s an old treasure. It could use some dark shades but otherwise its a great comfortable bed in a retro setting offering a touch of the past. We felt fortunate to get it at an unusually low price(off season) Ive been in similar hotels that had more of everything but the price point of those were $500 + . We kept extending our stay due to a family need and had no problem doing so. Martinis in the bar were very good

My favorite hotel. I initially stayed here because I recently started working at glens falls hospital which is well within walking distance. But I have booked stays since as I love the classical feel of the hotel, with elegant first floor with high ceilings and banquet rooms and simple but classy rooms. I love the live piano music early in the evening and live music at Fenimore's pub on friday and saturday. The food is also delicious and room service is available. The employees are very friendly and helpful, both at the front desk and in the pub.. esp the male bartender named Kasey.

I love the history of the hotel and all the photographs on the hallway walls of old Glens Falls and the surrounding area. I only wish that some of the framed photographs had information telling us where and when they were taken. My room was really beautiful and looked out on City Park. The pool was exactly the right temperature, and the hot tub was wonderful. However, next time, I'm going to ask for an accessible room, because my bathroom had the lowest toilet I've ever seen - great for kids, but not for senior citizens.
